Mrs. Amy Gordon

I am a University of Central Florida graduate with a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education. After graduating college, I landed my first teaching job as a writing specialist for grades K-5 including autistic cluster. I developed a passion for teaching kids how to express themselves through writing. This led me to my next endeavor, the South Florida Writing Project Summer Institute. http://www.schoolofed.nova.edu/sfwp/index.htm This program provided me with additional tools to help teach writing as well as use writing to learn. I am now a teacher consultant for the SFWP and have taught many teacher workshops. 

I am currently a 4th grade teacher and in the past have taught kids that have different learning styles. I truly enjoy making a difference in each child's life. Tutoring has always been a way for me to continue my dedication in enriching and helping children in all aspects of education.
